@jerrigirl We're pretty isolated, only flights here are from HNL on Hawaiian Airlines (usually Mon & Thu) or via Samoa by air daily or by ferry weekly. Most of Mount Alava you see in the photo encompasses part of the National Park, which spans the five main islands in #AmericanSamoa. Many people visit here because we're usually their last #NPS to visit. I've hiked Mt. Alava, it's strenuous but the view from the summit is the added reward.

Earlier, it was a beautiful warm sunny 80°F day in the United States of America most southern border, here in the South Pacific/Southern Hemisphere.

It's summer time here, although mostly same 80°F year round. 😎 ☀️ 🏝️ 🌏
