Just swapped out the old decoration lights for two 100 #neopixel strings

A quick #WLED flash onto an #AnaviTechnology #MiracleController and bam we're off!

Immediately detected by #homeassistant

Nice. Wasn't sure I was going to get that done before the incoming storm tonight.

Started with an #ESPHome implementation on an #AnaviTechnology Miracle Controller (#esp8266) and got some basic animations going.

Have since replaced FW with #WLED which looks like it is an easier/faster way to accomplish things. I'm still evaluating where I would use one over the other. WLED has some real advantages for 'mostly lighting' types of projects.

Today's quick and dirty project was too quick! Gonna have to find another. 😂

#WLED default #esp8266 binary flashed onto an #AnaviTechnology Miracle Controller by web install. Can configure both #neopixel strips through the config screen. No recompiling necessary to use pins 12, 14 for the strips.

Took less than 10 minutes.

And (of course) #homeassistant just found it automatically.
