I just finished watching #StarWars #Andor for the 3rd time. It is just leaps and bounds above any other Star Wars that is being made, or even has been made. More please!

Excited for #Ahsoka AND a little worried at the same time. As much as I've loved the first two seasons of #TheMandalorian, the third one (and TBoBF and Obi Wan) were quite patchy in parts IMHO. Plus #Andor and all the possibilities of shooting on location revealed the obvious shortcomings of the (albeight very cool) virtual Volume set. Well... as for now: In Filoni I trust...

We’re enjoying the #mandalorian much better than we did #Andor, and I think it’s because of the humour.

Ich habe da eine andere Wahrnehmung. Für mich ist Star Wars Science Fantasy und genau das fand ich im Verlauf der Zeit albern und eintönig. Für mich hat #Andor eine dringend benötigte Dosis Realität eingebracht, die dem Ganzen überhaupt Relevanz verleiht. Darth Vader und der Imperator sind eben keine netten Fantasy-Onkel-Bösewichte, sondern knallharte Autokraten und Despoten. Es hat SW gut getan mal zu sehen, was das konkret für Bevölkerung und Gesellschaften bedeutet.
