I setup "@ erik @ nygren.org" (minus the spaces) as an alias that points to my #Mastodon account here on #Hachyderm, allowing for more stable identity forwarding. Also not an idle point that most of these are under the #AGPL and #GPL, which there are restrictions on me contributing to due to my job (I can do it in many cases, but there are Steps) vs if it all of this was under #BSD or #Apache2.
Just because it is open source and I have a relevant skill set does not actually mean I am free to contribute.
