Ist ein #Apple #Mac mini M2 12 core mit Kanonen auf Spatzen und würde ein 10 core mehr als ausreichend sein? Oder lohnt sich das Upgrade schon?

Anwendung: Photoshop, Lightroom, InDesign. Ab und an Premiere mit 4K Videos aber eher immer im Clip-Bereich < 10 Minuten.

I thought part of the point of #Apple designing its own CPUs was so it can update its lineup more regularly. But despite the M2 having been around since June 2022, half its lineup—including the flagship #MacStudio—is still stuck on the M1, and may stay that way for some time. Upgraded my 2017 MacBook Pro to a M2 MacBook Pro and just starting to use iPad apps on my Mac, wow this is pretty amazing to have this capability on my Mac. Lame I missed this with the M1’s came out and skippedthem but its awesome to be able to do this on the #M2 #MacbookPro.

I'm curious, what did you end up noticing on your M1 and M2 Mac that you couldn’t do on your Intel model?

As a tech enthusiast and PC tinkerer, I am far more excited by @frameworkcomputer in 2023 than by anything Apple's unveiled recently. Really hoping for a future of upgradability and #righttorepair.

The M1 MacBook Pro is the best laptop I've owned. It's been a good two years, but I just ordered the M2 Air. #macbookairm2 #applem2

Here's what I'm looking forward to:

✅ Taller display
✅ Thinner bezels
✅ 24GB RAM (vs 16GB)
✅ Better webcam (1080p vs 720p)
✅ Thinner and lighter
✅ No more Touch Bar
