Little late to the punch, but I am so pleased with the work the Apple Maps team did with Boston and some of our landmarks. For years I was disappointed about Bunker Hill’s representation as a small building. Now, with pride, it stands tall. Fenway is gorgeous and features the red seat. Isabella Stewart Gardner features the garden from above. The state house gleams with its gold dome and beautiful black gate. Bravo. #applemaps #boston #landmarks

Apple Maps is showing a non-existent gas station with the name of a long-discontinued convenience store chain (Siwa). The actual convenience store is labeled correctly, but shown in the wrong building. Best be careful with these. #appleMaps

Hatte jetzt seit über zwei Jahren die Sprachhinweise bei der Navigation deaktiviert, wollte mal schauen was sich in der Zeit so getan hat. Relativ früh kam dann die Anweisung „Rechts abfahren auf die A EINE…“ 🤦🏼♂️
Okay soviel dazu.
Verwundert hat mich das dann doch einmal die Aussage „A EINS“ kam, wahr aber wohl nur ein Fehler in der Matrix, da anschließend noch mehrfach „A EINE“ kam… 😩

So Apple Maps isn’t handling our bilingual Finnish addresses that well. Some sort of similarity search being done, with the result that a valid Helsinki, Finland street address in Swedish gets yeeted all the way down to Italy. #AppleMaps #GisChat
