As much as I enjoy the classics and their remasters, these new often streamlined and quality of life inspired titles have me experiencing the familiar but within a modern indie context. I absolutely adore them.

Btw, finished #AraFell. It was OK, refreshing, but never really elevated beyond that. I was disappointed by the one-dimensionality of the villains, the simple story, and the battles became a bit repetitive (also, easy). Still I hope for their next game (rise of the third power)

#AraFell is a nice, smart little faux-JRPG. Really giving me seiken densetsu 3 vibes, loving it.
