#ubuntu #archiveBox help request:

I've installed archivebox on a spare computer running Ubuntu 22.04 using these directions:

Of all the install instructions I've tried this has been the most successful but I can't get a few options working, particularly PDFs and HTML copies.

I have Chromium installed (Snap version though :-/) in Ubuntu but:

1) Not sure that would be visible outside the docker container (no clue about those)

2) ArchiveBox is looking at /usr/bin/chromium which isn't valid. Not sure how to get to update the path in config for archivebox within the docker container.

Any help appreciated!

Snel even bij #Yunohost gekeken en daar heeft een heel behulpzaam iemand reeds een script gemaakt waarmee #Archivebox snel op een Yunohost server geinstalleerd worden kan. Ik gebruik nu nog #Pocket voor mijn persoonlijk archief. Misschien schakel ik wel over naar ArchiveBox.

C'est un peu dommage que ce soit pas fédéré comme projet, ça pourrait permettre de créer une sorte d'Internet Archive décentralisé.

@kensanata You might want to look into #kiwix. Designed specifically for this. I also use #ArchiveBox and it is good.

Just discovered #archivebox. Wow. I have been wanting something like this for years. Archives web pages. Can use your bookmarks, browser history, files, etc. as input. Clever clever. https://archivebox.io/
