Going to a Soil Contamination and Remediation presentation by Lisa Bloodgood tonight. Am actually less interested in the subject of the presentation than Lisa's take on the conflict of interest between various nonprofits using the Argento's Broadway Stages building at 359 Kingsland Ave, Brooklyn,. She's associated with North Brooklyn Neighbors now but was previously with the Newtown Creek Alliance.

It´s the Laserparadise/ Red Edition -Version so it looks more like VHS-quality than DVD. But still one of the best soundtracks ever - produced and performed by the band "Goblin"

Watching an old #Argento #HorrorMovie The Church (1989) and can't not yell "don't speak Latin in front of the books" at the TV #Buffy It is a trope now but was not so much then so I don't want to commit a historicism while I watch. There's also a nice few #Gnostic references "the world of the flesh is evil" kind of stuff. Love how my studies #theology are adding to my enjoyment of the genre.

Profondo Rosso or Deep Red. What a great horror/thriller film from 1975. Directored by the master Dario Argento. This is the sound track from the film by Goblin and it would be first in many collaborations that Goblin would do with Dario. With a mixture of Progressive rock, jazz rock, heavy metal and some early electronic sounds it’s a wonderful fusion and fits the film well. #horror #italian #Argento #film #Soundtrack #1975 #goblin
