Is #flux more lightweight than #argocd?

For an upcoming article, I created some hard facts by comparing the latest versions of #argocd and #flux / #WeaveGitOps in terms of images, vulnerabilities and resource requirements.

The #CircleCI hack is probably a good indicator that you should use deployment mechanisms native to your deployment infrastructure (like #ArgoCD).

Reduce the attack surface by not having credentials live outside your own infra.

Limit external #CI tools to only build (and store in a Docker repo or S3-storage, depending on mechanism).
Basically, separate build-test-verify from deploy.

Is there anything like #ArgoCD, but for #HashiCorpNomad ?

..or at least something that is not tied to Kubernetes, or any underlying implementation technology, which could be extended for the use case.

Am I the only one that finds the #ArgoCD docs really confusing? The project is "git-ops" but the getting started walks through a deploy using the UI. Then when I look at their getting started repo for Helm, it contains a helm chart, but then I look at the docs and describes a very small subset of CRD fields, but the getting started does not have this CRD in it anywhere.
