Last night, the Vega-C 🚀 launch from Kourou spaceport failed (during 2nd stage burn).
#Arianespace will now have to investigate and find what happened, which could take several months.
Unfortunately, several #ESA / #Copernicus missions -the first of which Sentinel-1C- are to fly on a Vega-C. The failure and investigations would mean more delays before S1C is up as a replacement for the failed S1B.
We and others use the Sentinel1 satellites for monitoring #SeaIce.

SES-17, a high throughput satellite operated by SES and SYRACUSE 4A, a telecommunications satellite developed for the French Ministry of Armed Forces.
