We ditched #ArkNova because it depends too much on how lucky you get with the cards. Now my girlfriend and I are trying #Barrage online. So far, so good.

My girlfriend and I have been learning how to play #ArkNova and it looks I'm very good in buildings zoos 😆 The implementation of the game in Board Game Arena is neat.

A look at the May plays. #Stroganov roars up the charts being played 4 times when I only owned it for a whopping 3 days in May. #ArkNova is a lock at first because I've been playing it avidly on BGA as well as getting it physically to the table a few times this month. And of course, my new love, #FinalGirl continues her strong performance.

Linds and I made #ArkNova work on the smallest and narrowest coffee table present in our cabin. What didn't work was my strategy this game as she beat me 21 to -6.

First #solo #game of the evening was #ArkNova, but sadly, it was a loss. Hard to get used to how rapidly breaks come towards the end of this game. I ended up with a ton of money but nothing to do with it at end. Plus, getting all my workers out but getting ZERO bonuses from them because of the player mat I had, was detrimental.

Played #ArkNova for the first time this evening. I liked the game about as much as I hated the rulebook, which is a LOT. I can totally see why it’s as popular as it is, but there are so many fundamental ways they could have explained things better. #Tabletop #BoardGames
