Two pro-Russian propagandists detained in #Armenia

Blogger Mik Badalyan and Ashot Gevorkyan, an employee of the pro-Kremlin dump Sputnik, were arrested. They are on trial for illegal possession of weapons, media reports say.

A day before the detention, Badalyan criticized the Armenian government on air for its "anti-Russian policy."

Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova already said that it was a "provocation of the West".

#Russia has quarreled with #Armenia.

"Moscow does not agree with #Pashinyan's words about the failure of the Russian peacekeeping mission and Russia's withdrawal from Nagorno-Karabakh. Russia will remain a part of this region and it cannot withdraw from there. Russia continues to play the role of a security guarantor," #Peskov said. He also added a sarcastic remark that more Armenians live in Russia than in Armenia itself.
