The top is kinda how stuff comes through when I imagine it, and the bottom is what happens if I work only from imagination based that.

I more closely describe what's in there as seeing stuff through a window in heavy rain. Things are blurry and vibes-based, and ability to rotate/distort is limited!!

Got some cheap waterbrush pens* and wanted test their performance, as well as how the paper in my sketch pad would stand water. Result; paper - as expected, pens - surprisingly good. And I ended up with this nice pic.

I just learned how to make overlapping, repeating patterns (for fabric and wallpaper design etc), and... I love it? The first try was of the kind "Wow, I think I got something here! Maybe I should bypass Spoonflower and try to sell this to someone?". It's definitely a honeymoon phase, but if the sample looks as good tomorrow as it does today I may seriously consider it.

Big day today; the new dishwasher will arrive. These past two weeks I've lost one hour per day on doing the dishes by hand - partly due to my fondness of batch cooking (gobbles up bowls and pots like crazy, and then they need cleaning). I'm _so_ looking forward to get that time back!

Well, whaddaya' know! I made it! This calls for celebrations later on, because I've never managed to hit all three planned goals before. Practice makes perfect, even if it's slow sometimes. This is also what I do to have an excuse to leave my drawing chair and move around. Gyms are nice and all that, but this way I get tomatoes.
