“With a few tiny variances, our national Corporations Act and each state and territory’s incorporated association laws impose a hierarchical and corporate structure on not-for-profit governance that attempts to be all things for all organisations. Statutory authorities, public-owned companies and other incorporated structures aren’t much different either. The statistics show this approach isn’t working.”
