Got to the #chimpanzees just in time for snack time! And to hear a keeper talk about how one of the chimps has learned to trade frogs he catches in his enclosure for treats.

Big thank you to all our #NCZoo volunteers and staff out here educating the public! And sad to hear the male #lion passed away this summer. Apparently the new male is still getting used to the females in charge. No wonder! Look at those teeth and claws.
