I am looking for a place to rent around #Fremantle area and I'm thinking outside the box. Please feel free to boost/share.

If you know someone with an empty place that needs work - let me know, happy to exchange labour for rent. Would also be happy to work on a large shed to convert to an ancillary dwelling (with approvals etc) for someone who wants to downsize and then rent the house or ancillary dwelling to me. Even an empty warehouse to convert a part of to office/living space could be an option.

While I'm looking for something long-term and stable, I'd definitely consider a short-term option like house sitting for a few weeks (no furry animals unfortunately due to allergies) or cheap rent on a short lease (for example for a house which is empty as it's waiting on development approval.)

I haven't got anything to lose by throwing it out to the Fediverse, and it would be amazing if this was how I found a new home for myself (single student mother) and my 2 children (Years 9 & 7).

Happy to answer questions although for privacy we might need to switch to DM & Signal.

It feels pretty weird to do this when I just joined here at aus.social , but I've also been writing more on the political vs personal impacts here than anywhere else, so it's probably a better place to ask than my creative writing acccount. Also, there are Aussies here, so your never know.
