I'm not following as many folks in the tech community here, so maybe this has already been discussed to death (& apologies if so), but has Github's push for 2-factor authentication not bothered more folks?

Saw an email the other day where they notified me my account would be more limited if I didn't use some form of 2FA with it, & I'm just like: I only use Github casually & begrudgingly, seriously?

On the Android version of the Discord app, in system settings for notifications, there's a social category that mostly makes sense; however, there's one notification type under there I can't figure out: social.

What does this include that's outside direct messages & friend requests (the other types under the social category)? Discord support pages, on a brief glance, don't appear to cover this.

Yes, I’m a Nerd, and I guess hardly anyone ever notices, but I quite often stumbled about co-authored text documents where parts of the text are black and parts are dark gray. I assume that certain versions of Word switched to dark gray text as a default, possibly to reduce the contrast? Did anyone else notice and has an explanation for this? #AskFedi
