Looking for app/software/(hardware?) recommendations for taking notes and/or adding things to my calendar using voice much like voice assistants like iOS Siri, Amazon Alexa etc
The catch is that I would like to find an alternative that is not big tech giant. If that's the only thing there is then I might have to surrender to it, but I rather not
Not looking for some all-in-one AI solution, just some app that can recognise I want it to take a note when I talk to my android phone (always on standby or a "one press" kind of deal) and note it down for later use
I'm struggling hard with remembering things and typing it down manually, so ideally the less steps to get something noted down the better
I'm not lazy, I just know myself well enough those are my flaws and I try to find solutions to them
Thank you in advance 💜
Okay, real dumb #adhd question (but that's what my account is for):
Can you feel sad/depressed by not drinking coffee for a while? ☕
Trying to figure out reasons to why I've just been so unmotivated and blue the last few days and noticed I've barely had any when I usually do
There's too many factors to be sure whether it could be lack of caffeine, but I'm mostly curious if it could be a potential culprit.
Also, sadness from the lack of caffeine might be a common side effect everyone has? I have no idea tbh! 🫤
So my fellow #neurodivergent travellers…

@autism101 Dating tip: always bring snacks on a date. Not only does it show that you're a considerate and thoughtful person, but it also provides a backup plan in case the conversation starts to lull. #winwin #snackstosuccess #datingadvice #AskingAutistics #AskADHD #ActuallyAutistic #AuDHD

To all the parents with #adhd out there. What are some ways you have embraced your ADHD and incorporated it into your parenting? #askadhd #adhdparent
I know it's the boring advice that we all hate to hear....
But I really personally do find it helpful to make things small and easy to combat #procrastination
Sometimes, I break my complex work tasks down into 10 things that each take a few minutes.
Yes, it takes me 10 minutes to create, review and tick off the list...but this is hugely faster than just sitting there blankly, not being able to get motivated.
I know that not everyone wants to use the same approaches - or can use the same...so...
What are your own tried and tested personal preferences for dealing with procrastination?

If you are autistic + ADHD, what have you come to learn to be red flags in friendships? or signs a friendship is no longer (or ever was) genuine?

If you got one project or focus interest at one time is there a period where the other hobbies or interests of your past times are paused for a bit because your brain doesn’t know how to counter the time or doesn’t know how to schedule things to do other things and thinks of one thing if its that one project.

Breakthrough for me last night was colour coding my boundaries so I can stop exerting myself in relationships that are draining me of my energy. Colour is EXCELLENT for ADHDers. I see everything in colours and it helps me articulate better and know when it feels good and when it is absolutely dangerous. Here’s how you can adopt it for yourself:
Think of all the things that bother you and rank them from bearable to completely unbearable and then assign colours to them. #AskADHD #ADHD
