So... it was OK.
A bit annoying due to the new guy using #Aspergers instead of #ASD (technically, I got diagnosed with the former, but consider it a diagnosis that's unnecessarily separating) and sharing a few outdated ideas like autism spectrum being one-dimensional and autists being "special" (both + and -).
But overall, it helped me tidy up some of my thoughts in a way that I hope helps me, so it's already better than I've expected.
Still - I'm a bit drained out at work today.

Having Asperger's Syndrome/Autism Spectrum Disorder means that folks start to dislike you because they can't play "hiding your stuff" practical jokes without you getting severely bent out of shape. Nuerotypicals can either take it in stride or have the patience and/or intuition to foil their plan by finding it quickly. #Aspergers #autism

The only difference is in support needs - and those vary over people's lives.

#gay culture is seemingly walls of rejection because you dont fit a certain mould.
The lgbt community is a wonderful space and place. Sometimes however it is hostile even unintentionally. Pair that with #aspergers making in person contact with random people more than a:challenge, it can be isolating.

As much as i ak comfortable in my own skin, it wouldn't hurt if people generally showed a:little more patience in the world
