Annika Lindgren funderar över om den andra och tredje boken om Pippi Långstrump kommer att finnas i tryck i framtiden. Familjen föredrar tydligen generellt att stryka kapitel eller sluta ge ut böcker framför att bearbeta Astrids texter.

Anja Ballis and Marlene Zöhrer have edited a wonderful collection on the influence of WWII on Astrid Lindgren's writing, with a special focus on her war diaries. I am grateful that they have invited me to contribute a chapter on the formation of her later public advocacy in her private writing - which, as it turned out, also required addressing the poetics and texture of her war diaries and untangling the structure of some of her key arguments.
