Some more Aurora photos - May 28th, 2017, and I just happened to have the tracking mount up and running when an aurora outbreak kicked in. A wonderful experience. This was at Pine Bay Cottages along the St. Lawrence River in upstate NY.
This was a really special night out under the stars and high energy atmosphere.

Years ago, I saw an image of NGC 7380 - The Wizard Nebula, and I was awestruck. Wonderful to take on this project, and process a narrowband image using the Hubble Palette (SHO) to create my own #astrophoto of this target. With nearly 8 hours of capturing light, it was a lot of fun to integrate this data together to this final result.
