I love Akka Arrh on the Atari50 Celebration and Jeff Minter, so I picked up his new release. Maybe I'm just not good at it, or maybe I'm missing something? I'm hoping this game will grow on me. #atari50

The title update for #Atari50 has completely sorted the control issues I was having with T2K. Now I only have my own ineptitude to blame #SuperZapper

IMO, the most playable games in #atari50 are generally the arcade games (at least in cases where the controls can be made to work; “Tempest” is never going to be fun without a dial). “Cloak & Dagger” is a weird and very fun twin stick shooter that I only ever played IRL in the arcade at Cedar Point sometime in the mid- to late-80s.

This #atari50 compilation is such a labor of love, I’m awe. And I only had a tangential relationship to Atari: my neighbors had 2600s, while we had an Odyssey2. Though I did have an Atari ST in college and a Lynx later.

Rolled out #Atari50 on the #SteamDeck, and it was worth it just for #MajorHavoc alone.

Also, I am still terrible at Major Havoc. Classic arcade games are just brutal.

My brother and I first got an Atari 2600 back in 77/78. Amusing to me I'm still playing this stuff all these years later.

Installing #Atari50 via Steam. I got it on the Nintendo Switch from my Mom, but I will never get to play it because the kids are playing their new games on it now. Everything I've seen about this says it's amazing. I don't feel bad about double dipping on this as I would like to see a lot more of these for other studios done this well. #retrogaming

Did I buy #Atari50 again on Switch? Why, yes.
Steelbook version was on sale, so I had to get it again. It's worth it.

We are preparing a title update for #Atari50 that will fix a few issues we've spotted. Bugs be gone! But maybe not all of them, so we need your help.
