One of my very favorite things about the #Fediverse is reading a post from a person who apparently has deep knowledge about something fairly esoteric and thinking “I wonder if this person knows they’re on #TeamNeurosparkly?”. Then looking at their bio and yep, they do know. 💜 I love us.

I made to GP this morning. Chest still clear though I’m coughing up stuff & clearly struggling to speak without coughing/breathlessness. GP was nice though.
Nothing else they can do. I didn’t expect anything tbf but I’d rather be checked on than not.
#wife is wiped out from yesterday & can barely move. 😖.
We’re a broken household 😞. It just sucks.

I really want to go back to being healthy & being able to DO things. Being bored doesn’t help but I’m in no state to go out & engage my brain as my brain fog is ridiculous. 😶‍🌫️

My current goals are very small. Breathe easily.
Get some washing done.
Cook a healthy meal.
Go out for a walk.

I’m currently back in bed.

My asthma is so bad today. 😖 it’s been bad the last few days but today? I’m done.

I managed to actually speak to a on call gp via 111, after approximately 6hr wait. Only to be told there were no local f2f appointments and that I’d be called back. The first appt they could give me was at 02:45 nearly half an hour away. 😳 Or A&E.

Luckily they finally said I could start the abx that I was prescribed but not advised to take as ‘it’s only a cold’. My pulse oxygen was down to 90, now up to 96. Three days of steroids haven’t really touched it. 🤷🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️. It’s not Covid. It’s a nasty bug I’ve had on/off for about 5weeks. I’m utterly exhausted. 😞 I’m worried about going to hospital due to wait times/strikes/more germs. Plus I can’t rest there. It won’t do me any good. Sigh.

I remember I used to collect all sorts of things as a kid- small cute glass bottles, ceramic bottles, stones-I still have these and will pick up interesting ones, shells. I collect fabric now 🤣 but at least I do make things with it. Sometimes… 😂 #auadhd

I had my first psychiatric appointment this week. Turns out as well as anxiety and depression, which I already knew I live with, he said I have ADHD and Autism traits. :ir: I was shocked 😳. Also validated 😁. Annoyed that in almost 50 years nobody has picked this up til now and all this time I’ve been suffering and struggling but going forward at least I know. He said it presents differently when you have both. I’m waiting on my assessments now. #ADHD #AuADHD #adhd #latediagnosis #brownpeoplewithadhd #olderadhd #WomenWithADHD #womenwithautism

I just realised that whenever that I listen to music I feel that my meds (antidepressant) lose their effects.
I took my meds for the intensity of my feelings (for the most part) and I think that the effect of the pills fades with music. Anyone experiments something like this.
