Went to Auckland Art Fair, great show from dealer galleries, along with a very very interesting talk about Len Lye.

Bumped into older woman from Silverdale who had got the bus from there into the City - she said it was so easy - 25 mins - sounded like she took it regularly into the city for outings.

We desperately need this type of thing on Waiheke.

The bus system is largely geared towards servicing tourists, not the locals. We have double-decker buses on roads where 2 cars can barely pass; and the side roads are in shocking repair.

We need a solution - so its great to hear #AucklandTransport has a positive on demand feeder service already in operation. 👍
