One of the latest additions to my physical media collection of music is #TonyBennett & #LadyGaga “Love For Sale” double CD box set and man, how it sounds! Especially the first disc sounds so crisp and clear while listening on #MezeAudio 99 Classics headphones with #Audioquest DragonFly Red Dac. Pure magic.

After using #Plex / #PlexAmp for a while, I wasn’t really sure about accuracy of the playback with my iPhone and #Audioquest Dragonfly Red DAC. Today I came across #PrismMusic app and, finally, my DAC started to show the correct sample rate of the track being played. I think it’s, by far, the best third-party Plex Music player for iOS/iPadOS and must have for every external DAC user.

After spending last couple of days listening to many tracks from different albums, from different genres and in different formats, I can say that #Audioquest DragonFly Cobalt is worthy successor to DragonFly Red, especially for those, who prefer richer sound in lower frequencies without sacrificing the mid and high range. The improved sound is even more noticeable on headphones and IEM’s with usually less present bass, like my Meze Audio 12 Classics V2.

CD Album ripped to #flac and streamed from my #Plex server to iPhone 12 Mini with #Audioquest DragonFly Red DAC and #MezeAudio 12 Classic V2 IEM’s. I’m still surprised how well this setup sounds.
