Many of the people subjected to #domesticviolence are #workers. It's not their fault, and they shouldn't be disadvantaged while they deal with the consequences.

Nor should workers with families be forced to choose between assisting their family members to get #healthcare and putting food on the table.

In #Australia, thanks to long-running #union campaigns and new laws introduced by the #Albanese #government, they won't be.

In this case, an illegal, immoral & inaccurate scheme to take as much money as possible from #welfare recipients, suffering amongst vulnerable people, & some people against whom a debt was raised ending their lives.

Going to be working on a Green Left article with a comrade of mine about Autism and ADHD rights struggles in Australia.
Currently Senator Steele-John is pushing for the NDIS to be expanded to cover ADHD as a primary diagnosis. Autistic self-advocates like my self are pushing for ABA to be banned and for the level system for diagnosing Autism to be removed entirely or replaced with a working list of individual support needs as to better reflect the support each individual requires.

Remember comparing the Greens primary vote and seats won to the Nationals numbers isn't indicative of anything as a minor party in a coalition with a major party is very different to a standalone minor party.

@harrym it's a good initiative, but I don't think it makes the top 3 things that need fixing in Medicare. My list is probably:
1) too few bulk billing GPs
2) regional medical care
3) 24 hour GP clinics
4) hospital waiting lists are ~10x too long
5) dental
