The best piece of #advice I ever got about the #business of #writing (it was something Deesha Philyaw posted once years ago) was to join the #AuthorsGuild. I have learned so much, and the #contract review service has made it possible for me, an #unagented #author, to negotiate two book contracts without feeling like I was flying in the dark. So, I pass this advice on.
