Die Zeilgruppe sind Influencer und Social-Media-Agenturen. Die können alle Englisch. Und lesen keine Texte. Das Video fing schon mal ohne Ton an rumzuwackeln, damit man es anklickt. Das ist eben eine andere Welt, als textbasierte Web-Seiten.

Ich habe sie auch gefragt, ob sie denn Cookies brauchen und schon mal ausgerechnet haben, was Cookies an Ressourcen kosten. Aber das ist eben die bunte Werbewelt. Da braucht man auch Cookies, damit man den Menschen das verkaufen kann, was sie kaufen (Merke: Nicht unbedingt das, was sie brauchen.)

Die Idee ist dann den berechneten Impact über Kompensation auszugleichen. Das ist #Ablasshandel. Aber immerhin wird dann auch SM-Nutzer*innen klar, dass selbst das liebe Internet Ressourcen verbraucht und zwar nicht wenig.

Was man machen kann und sollte: Alle #Autoplay-Einstellungen ausschalten.

Just before I went to bed last night, I hit up the local #Memphis newspaper, the Commercial Appeal, to see if they'd posted a story about the passing of #GangstaBoo. They hadn't, yet, so I walked away from the computer and left the tab with their website open. Whoops.

Ich hatte das Problem mit diesem Artikel in #TinyTinyRSS (#ttrss), dass das Video immer automatisch gestartet ist, auch wenn ich keine "Permission" dafür gegeben habe. Die Lösung war es, einfach die iframes zu blockieren.

I recently installed #TinyTinyRSS on my old raspberry pi, and it's great!

I was quite surprised when it auto played some HTML <video>. How can I disable this behaviour? I tried to install some "plugins", and I even disabled #autoplay permission in #Firefox. All in vain.

Plugins I tried:
- af_zz_noautoplay
- af_zz_nopreload
- af_zz_pause_bg
- af_zz_vidmute
