Hab es mal schnell als gif gemacht. Hoffe is auch ok. Hier bei wenig #Solar -Watt von der #pv blinkt es eben rot. So ab 3000W habe ich die #Automation so eingestellt das es Amber leuchtet und ab 6000 Watt dann eben steady Grün.

Hab auch seit ca. 2 Monaten eine #Ulanzi mit #Awtrix zur Anzeige von #PV Daten (actual kW, Daily kWh,..) Besonders praktisch finde ich die 3 Indicator lights auf der rechten Seite der #Matrix. Ich lasse damit anzeigen in welchem Watt-Bereich meine PV gerade liefert (grün, gelb, rot), während die anderen Apps angezeigt werden. So weiss ich immer ob ich den Wasserkocher noch einschalten darf. 😀

Gestern kam die #Ulanzi TC001 an. Im ersten Schritt natürlich eine alternative Firmware geflashed. Wollte erst eine ESPHome Version nutzen, habe mich dann aber doch für #AWTRIX Light entschieden.

Neben der Uhrzeit, eine Standard-App, wird der aktuelle #Tibber Strompreis und der aktuelle Stromverbrauch angezeigt.

Die beiden Custom Apps werden von #HomeAssistant über MQTT bereitgestellt.

Die API ist wirklich umfangreich und man hat extrem viele Option was und wie man etwas anzeigen will.

A productive few days with Home Assistant. First got one of these Ulanzi matrix clocks and flashed it with Awtrix Light. Now it shows not only time but also weather conditions bis my weather station and charging status of our car.

Second, setup https://espresense.com on a spare ESP32 and so far the Bluetooth presence tracking works very well. It’s going to be used to detect when we’re home and turn on the lights when we arrive after dark.

First iteration on a countdown clock for the Ulanzi LED-matrix clock with #awtrix firmware successfully implemented with @nodered. Support for multiple days is already in there.

Would be nice to have everything in @homeassistant, but this is fine for now 😎
