Las listas de canciones pueden ser reproducidas de 3 formas:
1 secuencial.
2 mezclada: crea una lista aleatoria con todo el contenido y la va reproduciendo .
3 aleatoria: va llenando la cola de reproducción a medida que se necesita.

La mezclada consume bastante más recursos, al tener que leer listas grandes de canciones.
Pasé todas las listas a aleatorio, con el tema que quizás repita canciones o elija más seguido algunas más que otras. En mi experiencia pasa eso.

Así que, desde la actualización aprendí por las malas algunas configuraciones que exigen más recursos y trancan la emisión:

-Listas largas en modo secuencial o mezcladas. Si los recursos no sobran conviene siempre listas en modo aleatorio.

-Colas largas de reproducción: por defecto viene 3 canciones. Me gustaba tener 2 horas por delante (unas 35 canciones quizás) para revisar y eliminar lo que no me gustara, pero me voy a tener que conseguir otro vicio.

-Tiempos largos en prevención de duplicados (para no repetir canciones en listas aleatorias) por defecto viene 90 o 120 minutos no recuerdo bien.

After collecting over 1K YouTube songs into MP3 format, I'm very tempted to scrap them all and start over. I just simply don't listen to them as I thought I would. I also don't use #azuracast like I thought I would. #springcleaning has got my itching already....

Finally got around to making an Ambient Sleep station on my #AzuraCast instance. Looking forward to sleeping to it tonight! Next up, a video game music station!

Finally, I got #azuracast working via my private domain. Spent a good 20-30 minutes trying to figure out how to "cover" a range of ports internally. Luckily, if I would've read documentation, there is a checkbox under settings to force streams out port 80 or 443, which is what I needed!

Update on my #azuracast project: 967 songs I've downloaded from YouTube in a single playlist, being shuffled and playing without a hitch. I can stream on my LAN via VLC app and it works fairly well (the app crashed on me once). Not sure what I'll do with it next.

The cool thing is that I use #metube to download YT vids to MP3 and it has an extension for #firefox. I can download a video and it will automatically be in my playlist rotation automatically.

Had a problem with #azuracast where it did not like the fact that I did a mass add to a playlist. Once the dust settled, I was able to do a few tests and it works now. Patience is the key everyone!

Just spent 3-4 hours on trying to get #azuracast up and running, now that I can mount a local directory instead of copying music over. Words of wisdom:

1. Don't use the SNAP packages of Docker! Install it via APT!
2. Make '/var/azurecast' open to all users on the server to avoid permission hell.

Now it's finally time to start playing around with some custom stations!

Setup #Azuracast on my LAN, but having a little trouble getting NGINX Proxy Manager to direct proper port traffic depending on the radio station. It’s a cool concept with one major flaw: you MUST upload all of your music. Got it on a NAS or network share already? Can’t use it.

Would love to be able to just specify a playlist of songs and stream them over my LAN.
