I am a member of British Columbia's Emergency Support Services, a government funded group of volunteers who provide up to 72 hours of support for people evacuated from their homes, and sometimes stranded travellers.

My group is called Bulkley ESS. We are based in Smithers, BC, Canada.

Much of our training is provided by the Justice Institute of BC. It's supplemented by other online and in person training.
