I finished #bg3 and yes, the game is phenomenal. I do get people’s “issue” with the ending. It was brief but I get it. My hope is that DLC comes out in the future continuing the story.

I just met Alfira for the first time with my latest character. And again I have tears in my eyes. While the overarching story is grand, the plight of the Tieflings is real, the druids are shady — Alfira is dealing with our most basic emotions: love, loss, but also healing. Her story is one we all can relate to. For me it touches on the fear of losing my aging parents one day; they're my rocks. I love that BG3 takes its time for such personal moments, too. 💝 #BG3 #BaldursGate3

Every time I fire up and play an hour or two of #BG3 I end up unlocking new content. I'm in Act 3 with essentially the shape of the last part in sight, but there is still so much to do! 😂

Thoughts

1) #BaldursGate3 #BG3 is going to steal so much of my free time for the foreseeable future! Even with all the amazing reviews and what pc players said before it came out on #PS5 I still never expected to be so absorbed by pretty much every little story beat or background detail!

2) #Ahsoka is shaping up to be the best #StarWars live action I have ever seen, only Andor out does it and that is a different beast entirely.

3) The weather in #NorthernIreland this week can do one!

Apparently #Sony isn’t making enough money, so they must make me pay more.
Time to move to PC #gaming. A bit restricted because I cannot use a mouse (the few hours I played #ESO made me *seriously* motion sick), but #BG3 is behaving marvellously :blobaww:
Also, there’s #gog, because eff game launchers sideways 🖤

I'm loving Baldur's Gate 3. #BG3

Rarely have I had to stop multiple times in a game to seriously re-examine my choices, or get so worked up over a plot point.

The combat is exactly my style, the writing resonates with me. I feel like I'm 10 years old again playing Pool of Radiance on the #C64 , eyes wide at the screen.

It's not perfect, it's not for everyone, but it is exactly what I needed right now.

Bravo #Larian , and thanks to all devs/actors/writers who made it possible.
