A little bit of pressure could convince parks to stay in their lane, and #BNSF truly, profoundly, doesn't care.

Thursday's derailment in Crawford County involved two of the train’s three locomotives and 10 cars carrying a variety of freight, including paint and lithium-ion batteries, said BNSF Railway spokesperson Lena Kent.

In 1984, the Santa Fe and Southern Pacific railroads announced they would merge. In anticipation they each began repainting locomotives in this new "Kodachrome" scheme that combined Santa Fe's design with Southern Pacific's colors. Just days before this photo was taken, the Interstate Commerce Commission voted to kill the merger.
