Opinion to discuss:
Professors shouldn't be permitted to hang on to tenured faculty positions til they're 85. Perhaps mandatory retirement at 65 was too early. However there are so many baby boomer-aged people plugging up the universities, blocking the careers of #millenials, notwithstanding how this screwed the gen Xers. Think it's a microcosm of the world.

My disclosure: never faculty, always self employed, baby boomer aged.
