1. Platelet (blood) donation went well yesterday and I got a chair with a huge TV. For those that don’t know, platelets, unlike whole blood donation, take about 1.5 hours to extract which means you can watch an entire guilt-free movie while helping others.

2. Backup power project for the house moved forward and should be done by the end of the weekend.

3. My wife made a delicious, hearty minestrone soup that lasted two nights.
