I’ve mounted the mosquito net and a camping light on our parasol outside, so we can enjoy the evenings without getting sucked dry by the nuclear mosquitoes. It’s amazing how much life is rummaging around in the undergrowth in the garden and the woodlands. Kind of spooky!
We have foxes (cubs likely too), a hedge hog (droppings only so far), tons of froggies and toads, likely a pine marten (our neighbour saw it last year), and what not else!

Currently on view at our “local TV station” (as we refer to our various bird feeders): major entertainment as the little Great and Blue Tits come to pick sunflower seeds and the occasional peanut in the shell from right outside the rear window.
Who needs Netflix when you can have birds?

@myidlehands Oh dear! That's not an ideal place. Here at #BackyardWildlifeCollege we teach our faculty and students to keep out of the human dwelling but were unsuccessful with the mice last year. I've also had to have a stern word with the crickets this fall. But fortunately no squirrels yet!
