4. Place tofu in the marinade in a single layer for 5-7 minutes, flip, and let marinade for another 5 minutes.
5. Place tofu in a single layer on baking sheet. Cook at 425 degrees F for 13 minutes.
6. Flip tofu, and bake for another 11 minutes.
7. Serve hot or cold, by itself or with rice, on sandwiches, or however you like!

I don’t know why so many people like the weird spongy, chewy result of freezing tofu before cooking it. Our advice: DON’T freeze tofu! In fact, here’s a simple and delicious #recipe for baked tofu (1/2):
• 1 block extra firm tofu
• Tamari or soy sauce
• Water
• Xaoxing (shaohsing) rice cooking wine (can substitute mirin, but we wouldn’t)
