The connections between #China's #CCP, the #BambooUnion and its leader #ChangAnLo aka «White Wolf» (the gangster pictured below) who went into hiding for over ten years in China to avoid consequences for his drug dealings and jail time, are well documented.
Chang has become a sock puppet of #Beijing, sending his goons to start fights with pro-democracy and pro-independence activists and funding his political party, the Chinese Unification Promotion Party.
#Taiwan

While #Taiwan is a very safe place for tourists in terms of #crime (never mind the insanity known as #traffic that kills almost 3000 Taiwanese a year). Normally tourists will not experience any kind of crime in Taiwan.
But there are #triads operating in Taiwan, and some of these triads are - believe it or not - staunch supporters of the #CCP and #China.
