Yesterday I accessioned a small collection of #flyers delivered to a house in #Oldham. Many of these flyers are very specific to the #community that lives in the area and they show how the arrival of people from other countries shapes and develops businesses, education and culture. Oldham has a strong #Bangladeshi community and these flyers reflect that.
They're now part of our #LocalStudies #collection.

I'm all in favour of people owning their own decisions, but these are troubled and isolated #teenagers being #groomed. The #terrorists, be they right-wing or #Islamic, see them as cannon fodder. They are not trying to help them. They recognise their desire to belong and matter. Whether it's a white #autistic girl or a #Bangladeshi girl. I would hope that Buffalo authorities waive these fines levied on Bangladeshi mutual aid workers.

Has #Bangladeshi’s PM no problem with #Russia massively violating human rights in #Ukraine? Or just doesn’t see the link between that & the sanctions?
Sanctions have knock on effects, but properly weighing costs & benefits is key (& we have to show what they are).
