Some very, very smart people have not been aware that if your replies are checked as "listed" everyone who follows you will see them.

That is OK if you craft your replies to be interest, useful or uplifting self-contained. I don't know that works with others' replies though.

I think the #BestPractice is to have them unlisted by default.
