The front porch barn swallows are bringing their mates bits of fluff to line the nests for the next clutch of eggs. I was just watching the chickens from the upstairs bathroom window, when I saw a swallow *playing with a feather.* He(?) had a little white fluffy feather, and e swooped low over the driveway, released the feather, and swooped back to catch it again before it hit the ground. Then e did it *two more times* before darting away under the porch roof to present the find. SO NEAT!
