To give each nurse a 20% pay rise, they'd need to lay off 1 in every 6 nurses. That obviously isn't going to happen. And before anyone says it, AM's pay is a drop in the ocean compared to the cost of all the pay rises that are needed so cutting their pay or not expanding the #Senedd wouldn't make a dent.
Unfortunately, it looks like they'll have to wait until #Westminster gives in and then hopefully the #Barnet consequential will cover it.

Went #Christmas shopping today in town. Lots of people. OH said he's not used to it, being a #Barnet supporter.

Afflicted by gloom on Saturday, but very late still managing a 6-mile #walk from Cockfosters to Potters Bar, we resolved to try harder on Sunday.

Out by 11 am, we reached #Barnet Gate by rail/bus within an hour, then walked 17 miles to #Rickmansworth, via Moat Mount, Edgwarebury, Stanmore Country Park, Wood Farm, Bentley Priory, Harrow Weald and Oxhey Woods. We’d done it before, in spring. This time, mud underfoot was tiresome, but it was still a great walk and one of my favourites in #London.
