Creating loss-of-function mutations with cytidine base editors (CBE). Our new preprint is online. Work of the incredible Roman Doll (part! of his master thesis).

We set up a very efficient system to install premature stop codons or disrupt splice sites in Drosophila and made some interesting discoveries along the way. Will unpack these in separate threads in the coming days. For now here is the manuscript:
