I liked the dangerous feel of the blood red used to highlight the camera and security systems, I hope players have lots of fun dealing with those. I’m also pleased with the evolution of my grid style to hexes. We put in a grand and generous entrance, leading to various rooms for entertaining and conversing, supported by a kitchen and staff rooms below ground. In the attic windows are blocked up, and there are clearly some lovecraftian arcane experiments going on. Who knows what they are up to! I was most pleased to incorporate the battlemap grid into my design, communicating room decor and feeling at the same time as keeping a unambiguous grid to play on.

I’m not sure what protects these spectators or who cleans up the mess, but it was the most fun brief to draw. I worked on a very large number of layers so that I could balance the lighting and make sure the building and board element stick out while retaining the vibrant cyberpunk-esq nighttime feel.
