Please submit a public comment opposing Woodfibre LNG's proposal to reduce the exclusion area for seals & sea lions from the required 7km to a mere 125m during construction, exposing them to noise levels that can cause both temporary & permanent hearing loss & alter behaviour.

You can submit public comments until Jan 30: iaac-aeic.gc.ca/050/evaluation

Talking points:
-decision should be delayed until release of DFO Ocean Noise Strategy later this year
-seals & sea lions susceptible to noise above & below surface
-Howe Sound is a UNESCO biosphere region
