We will be housed by May, but we CANNOT survive on the streets again.

Not while this sick, not with all the kitties and not enough crates.

We've been mostly homeless since 2016, unsafely housed a few times, and we are both extremely unwell.

We are going to be moving into a new place with our Bestie who is leaving Texas, and we'll be finding a place together here in California!

We just have to survive and keep from being evicted until then...

Currently sitting here sobbing and trying so hard to stay safe from myself because meltdowns are cruel.

If we lose our room today, we will lose EVERYTHING.

We already might lose Everything in our small storage unit because we haven't been able to pay for it in almost two months so now it's $200 last I knew.

We're both bedbound, and we only have 2 crates, and there is nobody who can help us with the cats, not even temporarily.

We are LESS THAN TWO MONTHS from FINALLY being housed, but the closer we get, the more things seem to get worse/harder.

It seriously feels like something is trying to keep the good things from happening to us.

It's NOT going to win. 😤

If anyone with the means is feeling generous, my family is $520 and 9 Hours from being evicted from the inn we've called home for the last few years 😰

I'm extremely sick, we're both autistic, disabled, and have long covid. We have 5 kitties and they are our life.

One of our cats needs to go to the vet asap, we're about to lose everything in our storage unit, and we're struggling badly but trying to make it until April when we will Finally be safely and permanently housed after Years of homelessness and unsafe housing.

Please, I'm hoping with everything in my sick little body that the right people find this post.

I'm so scared we won't make it. 😭

The inn owner got in our faces the other night about our balance, and yesterday he gave us an eviction notice. 😭

He said he will tear it up if we come up with $750 by Wednesday, so that's our emergency goal right now because our other options are NOT good & the idea of moving all 8 of us that quickly is terrifyingly overwhelming to us. 😰

We are moving in with a lovely friend, and she knows how urgent our situation has been, especially now, and is doing everything she can to help us and prepare for us to all live together, but we need more than 3 days to pack and prepare for the move.

Narrowly avoided being evicted from our motel this morning, thanks to a very kind and generous donor.

We can't handle this level of stress, but there's no escape and no other choice, so we keeping trying to move forward.

Can't wait to be able to say "newly housed" omg, I seriously cannot wait! 🥺

There is SO much to figure out and do before we can go, but the more we discuss things, the more plans are starting to come together.

It's going to be SO much work, but we're not afraid of that, it's the change from our very safe and particular routine and lifestyle that's scary and overwhelming.

Also the money part of it all...

But we can do it!
