In fact, very early immigrants were gushing about how much interaction and actual community they experienced here---how great is that!? =D
As the move over gained traction, I noticed all my feeds changing---and of course there is a learning curve and people need to adjust... as long as we're trying
but i also can't help but worry not enough of the #BeforeMigrationTimes is visible and us newbies won't even notice what we're missing (or worse yet: what we might be diluting or undermining).
I joined as the #TwitterMigration just started. My instance was just a few hundred people as I learned the ethos here (e.g. #UseCamelCase, #UseAltText, #BoostNotFavaorite, #UnlistedPostsForThreads, #UseContentWarnings---still working on that last one).
At first I impatiently waited for more people to move over so I could replicate my previous way of internet-ing over here, but meanwhile I got a glimmer of the #BeforeMigrationTimes and understand what people had built how they interacted.
