In an odd way, Mr Queen makes good companion viewing with Being There, because no matter what the queen says or does, the people around her project meaning onto her based on their own agendas and preconceptions.

In a previous toot I showed that I was completely unaware of the #GeorgeSantos story in the USA. Now I know more, it's #WTF time. I heard he's developing a remake of the movie #BeingThere (1979). One of Peter Sellers' final and finest roles, as a "blank slate", a gardener named Chance who somehow stumbles in to DC society. Weird things happen, some *really* weird, politically. Well worth seeing if you can.
