Friends reminded me of this classic. Decided to re-read it. The graphic novel is good at first, later installments run out of steam. The prose additions are almost unreadable. Does anyone bother to read them? If so, could you precis it all for me so I can skip it? What a bleeding bore!

Captain Nemo is my favourite character - seems there is a spin-off series about his daughter. Most try it.
